Paddles

Paddles were where the Elf started his toy making journey. After decorating a paint stir stick which broke, I knew I needed something sturdier. I took a scrap piece of corian from my new kitchen counter and with a little imagination, some cutting and sanding, I had my first real Kinky Elf paddle. Since then I have acquired various patterns and colors of corian that can be turned into any of the shapes you see below, or a shape of your own design. Corian paddles can be customized with various studs, tacks, spikes and various applied shapes. Paddles can be inlaid with rocks, gravel and for the true sadist, can be inlaid with broken pieces of tempered glass.

Aside from corian, the Elf can make paddles from many types of hard wood and leather. The latest material to be Elfenized into paddles is recycled HDPE plastic. Small pieces of any color HDPE are melted down and compressed into blanks that then receive the custom Elf finishing treatments.
